Winter Co-curricular Dance - Mandatory Meeting

There is a mandatory meeting Thursday, November 1, from 2:30-3:00PM in Lane Dance Studio for all those interested in taking dance for their co-curricular activity winter term. Every one interested must attend. Please contact me if you are unable to be at the meeting.

Parent's Weekend

The Parent's Weekend Performing Arts Showcase this year will be during school meeting at 10:20AM, Friday, October 19th.

Winter Co-curricular Dance Class

If you are interested in taking dance as your winter co-curricular, and you have no prior dance experience, it is highly suggested that you take a dance technique elective this fall.

Faculty Dance Class Update

Class will begin on September 17th and will meet every Monday night from 5:30-6:30.

Faculty & Staff Dance Class

Due to several requests and the great fun had during "Thriller" rehearsals last year, I will be offering a dance class for faculty and staff one evening a week during the fall term. Day and time TBA. Please post a reply or email rmetzler@newhampton.org if interested. Check out the fun we had performing "Thriller" at last year's talent show!

Concert DVDs

If you have not yet purchased a DVD of last year's dance concert, "A Kaleidoscope of Dance", you are not too late. We still have copies left! DVD's are $5 each.

Welcome to NHS Dance!

I would like to welcome everyone back from summer break and to the new NHS Dance blog! This blog will be used as a tool for current NHS students, faculty, staff, and parents as well as those looking to become a part of the school community in the future.
